whims – Worlds Reborn

As I mentioned before, Adam is going to be the main focus for this Generation. Eve will autonomously do her own thing unless I need to or want to move the control over to her, which then Adam will do his things autonomously.

The first milestone of the Successful Lineage Aspiration is “Readily a Parent”. Since I created him as a Young Adult, he fulfilled 1/2 of the milestone already which was to “Become an Adult”. Then purchasing Crick Cabana, he was able to achieve partial of the second half. He needs to “Spend $1,000 on Kids’ Stuff” and with the child’s room that came with the house, he was able to accomplish $325 of that.

One of Adam’s whims is to “Buy a Toy”. I can knock out two birds with one stone here. All I need to do is find a toy worth $675 or more.

I don’t know if my nooboo will be a boy or a girl. I want to buy something that will appease to both genders. I find this Realistic Princess Doll Castle for $825. I don’t see why it has to be just a princess, tho. A boy could play with it and pretend it’s a Realistic King Doll Castle, right?

I place the Castle Dollhouse in the Master bedroom. It’s too big for the spare bedroom. I mean, look at the size of this thing. It’s as tall as Adam. Plus maybe Adam or Eve can play with it as well with their child.

Doing this achieves one of Adam’s whims as well as the first milestone to the Successful Lineage Aspiration.

Here we see I have moved Adam and Eve into a lot. The name of the lot is called “Crick Cabana”. It is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabana home. It is a premade home that comes with the Willow Creek World.

Purchasing this lot gave Adam and Eve $8,337 leftover. I’ll end up renovating Crick Cabana to fit the whims and aspirations of Adam and Eve. And I’ll probably end up spending that $8,337 later on.

The lot came with no traits to it, so I will be giving it some that will help with Adam’s Aspiration. I go through the lot traits and come out with: Homey (so Adam and Eve can work on their skills), On Ley Line (to help with fertility as I’ll need an heir – but can end up with twins also with this trait), and Romantic Aura (to get Adam and Eve in the mood for….lurve).

The Seasons Pack came with a Calendar. I started this gameplay with the Spring season. So I begin on day 1 of Spring. I chose to make each season 28 days,

The Calendar comes with preset holiday and events, but allows one to create them as well. For the Spring season, the game created “Love Day” which is similar to Valentine’s Day in our world. I myself do laundry on a weekly basis, so I am going to have Adam and Eve do that as well. To do laundry in the game, one needs to have the Laundry Day Stuff Pack. Without this, your Sims won’t be able to throw their clothes on the floor, in a hamper, nor will they be able to wash them.

I’m looking for ideas for other Spring holidays and events, so comment below the types you use in your game or some suggestions I could use. If I decide to add them, I’ll give you a shout out. I’m taking suggestions for all seasons, not just Spring. I would love to read your ideas!

When the game loaded I found Adam and Eve all decked out in their cold weather apparel (you can find these if you have the Seasons Pack) and asked myself the question you are probably wondering. Why? It’s Spring, not Winter. It seems according to today’s forecast in-game that it’s Sunny and Cold. Seriously, tho. Is it that cold outside? Ha, ha, ha! Sims wear what the Sims want. I won’t stand in their way.

Adam is in the Fine mood, but he looks bored.I suppose I would be too if I didn’t have any neighbors to talk to yet.

Below is a tour of their new home, Crick Cabana. It’s pretty bare, but should liven up when a nooboo arrives and/or they have a whim to add stuff.
